Infinity Syringable Features
List
Infinity is a dual-cure, fluoride releasing, hybrid resin-ionomer
cement. Its high bonding strength, tough fracture resistance,
low-film thickness, and radiopacity make it the ideal material of
choice for cementing all intraoral surfaces, including precious and
semiprecious metals. Infinity bonds directly to tooth structure
without the need for acid etching. However, when Infinity
Syringeable is used in conjunction with Tenure or Tenure Quik,
Infinity's bond strength will be enhanced. Infinity significantly
outperforms the traditional zinc phosphates and polycarboxalate
cements. Those materials are known to be weak, brittle, difficult to
mix, and do not provide fluoride release or any bond to tooth
structure. Infinity is exceptionally strong, insoluble, easy to mix,
and provides the protection of fluoride release coupled with good
bonding to tooth structure. Infinity also eliminates virtually all
microleakage as compared to zinc phosphates. Infinity also
outperforms the new, popular resin cements such as C & B Metabond
and Panavia. These materials do not offer fluoride release nor are
they dual-cure.
